Do I need caring experience to be a Shared Lives carer?

It doesn’t matter if you’ve never been a carer before, we’ll train you up and help you to be the best you can be.

Of course, if you’ve had experience as a carer or you’ve worked in social care, you’ll be in a really good position already. We’ll still need you to do our training to become a PSS Shared Lives carer, even if you’ve been a carer before.
